Best Poster Award for paper entitled "Conservation of Loktak Lake, Manipur" at National Conference on Wetlands, Science and Society - An Assessment of their integration held at Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi organised by Department of Botany, University of Delhi. 11th - 13th Dec. 2007

2008

Save Sangai Campaign at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore on 29th June, 2008

"For a better Manipur" and "North-East India Biodiversity" in association with Northeast Centre for Environmental Education and Research, Imphal (Manipur, India), are planning to organise a campaign in Delhi at India Gate for the conservation of Sangai - Cervus eldi eldi Mclelland.
The only floating National park in the world, on the Loktak Lake is the last natural habitat of "Sangai" the dancing deer of Manipur, India. The campaign was organised on 29th June, 2008. The campaign was also organised simultaneously at Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune .

Workshop

Delivered a talk on "Conservation and Sustainable Management of Cycas" in the recently concluded workshop on "The Conservation of Cycas in Maniakati Village and its surrounding areas, Ganjam District, Orissa on 29th March 2008.

2009

Paper presentation

Presented a poster entitled "Community based programme in Orissa to conserve the Cycads - the remnants of a bygone age" in the International Conference, ‘Conserving Nature in a Globalising India’ which was held at IISc, Bengalore between 17-19 February 2009. The conference was organised by Bombay Natural History Society, Mumbai in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

NeBIO  

Launched NeBIO Group on 26th January 2008. NeBIO Group is a group dedicated to the conservation of Biodiversity of North East India.

FOOTPRINTS 2008 

FOOTPRINTS is the annual city centric media & communication event organized by Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication Media Trainees across India.  FOOTPRINTS '08 was organised across 21 cities in India & 1 international. In Manipur, it was organised in Manipur University in collaboration with Department of Mass Communication, Manipur University.Invited to give a talk on Citizen Journalism.

Delivered talk on “Citizen Journalism and its importance in sustaining an NGO" in the second session of the day long programme organised at the Senate Hall in Manipur University.
